MAXIMUS

6 MIN TOURBILLON

the largest beating heart
in haute horology

A 27 mm central flying tourbillon,
powered by four barrels, conceived to be seen.

THE CONCEPT

In ancient Rome, the title Maximus was bestowed upon the highest priest and later adopted by emperors as a symbol of ultimate grandeur. That same spirit of magnificence lived in the Circus Maximus, the largest arena of antiquity.

Inspired by this legacy, Kerbedanz created MAXIMUS: a horological monument that transforms Roman greatness into the world’s largest tourbillon ever built for a wristwatch.

THE

MOVEMENT

At the heart of MAXIMUS lies the KRB-08 caliber, entirely designed, manufactured, and decorated by Kerbedanz. This manual-winding movement embodies an unprecedented technical feat.

MATERIALS

MAXIMUS is forged in grade 5 titanium, an alloy prized in aerospace for its exceptional rigidity, corrosion resistance, and lightness. This ensures the oversized tourbillon remains both strong and efficient.

Protecting this masterpiece is a vast sapphire crystal dome, anti-reflective and sculpted to showcase the amphitheater-shaped dial beneath.

DESIGN

The architecture of MAXIMUS reflects its name. The dial curves like an amphitheater, drawing the gaze towards the monumental central tourbillon.

Every line and proportion is conceived to exalt transparency, depth, and motion, making the mechanism appear like a grand performance unfolding under a crystal vault.

THE

MICROMECHANICAL

SHOW

Unlike conventional tourbillons, the MAXIMUS cage rotates once every six minutes. This slower cycle transforms precision into a true spectacle, allowing the eye to follow every oscillation in unprecedented detail.

Limited to only 99 pieces worldwide, MAXIMUS 6 MIN is not just a watch but a horological monument, an exclusive creation where rarity and micromechanics converge.
